Terre Haute
Hospitality Industry

Welcome to LodgingGuide's hospitality industry listings for the Terre Haute, Indiana area.

Terre Haute is built along the Wabash River, in Vigo County, just east of the Illinois state line. When U.S. 40 and U.S. 41 were the main highways across the country, Terre Haute, where they intersected, was called the Crossroads of America, a nickname that has remained through development of today’s more complex interstate highway system. Indiana State University is arrayed like a network of city parks throughout downtown Terre Haute, and attracts a discerning residential community accustomed to a good selection of restaurants and cultural institutions. The Clark - Landsbaum Deming Park Holly Arboretum is one of only twenty such arboretums in the world, and the Swope Art Museum houses one of the best collections of 19th and 20th century American painting in the country. Golfing is popular and well supported by a number of excellent courses in the Terre Haute area. The full array of accommodations is available in the Greater Terre Haute area, from major full-service hotels downtown to intimate lodges and inns in the surrounding countryside.
